Uterine cancer: Causes and Symptoms

Uterine cancer is also known as cervical cancer. Cervical cancer is the second deadliest disease in the world. As a result of not getting treatment in the first stage, the chances of surviving the disease are reduced by 52 percent. This cancer is extremely deadly which is the second leading cause of death in women worldwide.

Cervical cancer is more common in women between the ages of 30 and 55. According to the latest data from the World Health Organization, 570,000 women worldwide are diagnosed with cervical cancer each year and about 310,000 women die as a result.

Causes of uterine cancer

Cancer of the cervix in women is called cervical cancer. Women are more likely to get uterine cancer as a result of infection with a virus called human papilloma.

Uterine cancer is slow-growing cancer. In the first stage, there are no symptoms of this cancer. But then the symptoms gradually start to appear.

  • Never having children.
  • Women are more likely to get uterine cancer due to early marriage, having children under the age of 18, lack of personal hygiene, malnutrition, etc.
  • Before the start of the period (before the age of 12).
  • If you have a problem with high blood pressure or diabetes.
  • Due to being overweight or obese.
  • If you have a family history of ovarian, uterine, or stomach cancer.
  • If you have a previous ovarian tumor.

Symptoms of cervical cancer

The most common symptom of uterine cancer is abnormal vaginal bleeding. These include changes in menstruation, bleeding after menopause.

  • Always nauseous or nauseous.
  • Gaining excess weight or losing weight suddenly.
  • Excessive fatigue.
  • Abnormal discharge, which may be foul-smelling, pus-like, or bloody.
  • Pain during intercourse.
  • Pain during urination, blood in the urine.
  • Pain or bleeding during bowel movements.
  • Breathing problems
