Home remedies to heal minor burns

Burns are a common household injury that occurs due to carelessness. Different parts of the body can be burnt due to different reasons. Such as hot rice starch, hot oil, fire, etc.

Tea Bags:

Black tea contains tannic acid, which helps reduce the heat from burn wounds. To use this method, 2-3 cool bags should be used by placing them inside the bandage or gauze on the burnt area. You have to change it every few hours. This will help your burn to heal faster.

Mint leaves and toothpaste:

You can use mint leaves and toothpaste as a natural or home remedy for burns. You can make a mixture with mint leaf paste and toothpaste. Then you can apply it well on the burnt area and bandage it. This will cool your burn area and reduce the pain.

Vinegar:

Vinegar contains acetic acid, which helps relieve pain, itching and burns. It is also an antiseptic and astringent, so it will help protect your burns from getting infected.

Vinegar draws heat from burns, so naturally helps reduce pain. To use this method, apply vinegar on cotton or soft cloth and apply it well on the burn wound.

Milk:

The fat and protein content of milk is very effective in healing burns. Soak the burn in milk for 10-15 minutes to heal the burn. Full-fat, whole-milk yogurt will help cool and hydrate your dry skin. As a result, your burn will heal very quickly.
