Protein is very essential macronutrients for human body. Protein plays the key role for our body’s growth.

Too much protein?

Too much protein is not good for health. Although protein is the building block of our body, we should be careful about high consumption of it. Too much protein can reduced the performance of liver and kidneys.

Does animal protein has cancer risk?

The animal protein known as red meat such as beef, mutton, pork etc increase the risk of cancer.

We get protein from many different foods. Besides animals, we can also get protein from fruits and vegetables. Following is a list of food that has high protein:

  • Chicken
  • Fish (sea fish tuna, cod, fillet of salmon, shrimp etc)
  • Beef
  • Dal (all kinds of pulse)
  • Milk
  • Curd
  • Seed (pumpkin seed, sesame, almond, almond, potato, pistachio.)
  • Eggs
